Rádio Quântica – Satan Made Me Do It #13 x Disthrone [+tracklist]

We invited them, they said yes and didn’t disappoint! Hour one brims with heavy music of the cult-est kind carefully chosen by your friendly neighbors SATAN MADE ME DO IT. Hour two we welcome Carina Domingues and Daniel Pereira from crust punk/dbeat beasties Disthrone for a little chat and a lot of tunes – and not all of ze metal kind!

They just released their first EP, “Retaliação”, actually. So, make sure to support the band, will ya?

Rádio Quântica – Satan Made Me Do It #12 [+tracklist]

Bad boys, good boys… they all look the same with a belly full of bagaço.

Watch us descend into the unholiest ballrooms of evil after many-a-trips to Czech Republic, Belgium, Switzerland, France, Canada, Brazil… we took one hard pounding on this show and our heads are still spinning.

Good news though: you can get pounded yourself! Care to join us?

Rádio Quântica – Satan Made Me Do It #11 [+tracklist]

This show right here we’ll teach you to spit fire and that’s a mighty good ice breaker (ha!).

We had it all: Texan Blues, Satanic Hymns, THRASH and even a world exclusive. Satan sure doesn’t fuck around. Unless he feels like it of course. It’s a free country.

One half of SATAN MADE ME DO IT has his own project. It’s called HOOFMARK and it’s deeply rooted on the lo-fi, simple and yet exaggerated aesthetics of 84-87 hardcore infused underground metal, as well as on the often poignant narratives of traditional country music (yes!).

And guess what: this show saw SATAN MADE ME DO IT play HOOFMARK for the very first time EVER. It was very emotional.

HOOFMARK’s self-released first demo is COMPLETED and ready to be released independently on Bandcamp and on cassette. Soonish. Find everything about it here: https://www.facebook.com/hoofmarkofficial/

HOOFMARK’s premiere was at http://www.radioquantica.com

Rádio Quântica – Satan Made Me Do It #10 x DYLAN HUGHES (NTS’s Midnite Madness / AFITFOG) [+tracklist]

This episode of Satan Made Me Do It on Rádio Quântica sees Dylan Hughes (of NTS Radio‘s MIDNITE MADNESS/MANIAC MONDAY shows, A FIST IN THE FACE OF GOD blog and VICE UK‘s fame) going at it on hour two with one crazy thrash/deathrash mix filled with demo stuff from good ol’ 1986.

Shouts out to Dylan for being so cool with us. Hopefully we’ll be able to do it all again sometime in the future.

We surely did. There’s underplayed classic material, cult metal, old favorites – all essential tracks. Rádio Quântica was never this much metal.

Episode 50 – Royal Feast

Episode 50 – Royal Feast (right click to download)

For number 50 we went for both the obvious and the obscure. After all, we got big reasons to celebrate. Might as well invite as many as we can to the party. And guess what, even Thailand got in!

We go through a whole bunch of stuff to keep the fire going: heavy, proto-heavy, thrash, doom, funk (!), a bit of space rock too. Thing is, It’s not yet time to blow the candles. There’s plenty more ravaging left in us.

Here’s to 500 more episodes!

Episode 49 – Bad Character

Episode 49 – Bad Character (right click to download)

This is one proud, barbaric, dangerous dude of an episode. REALLY GOOD stuff.  Black/thrash nuggets from nine different countries. Some new stuff, some demo stuff, some obscure stuff from good times gone by. AND we have all the adjectives you would expect from such a show: perverted, thick, sick, impenetrable, vicious, revolting, cool, fresh, harsh, commendable, extraordinaire, sinister and, above all, relentless. So get in, get on, get off and listen like your life depended on it.
